Trip to Angelic Pretty

Yesterday, I finally decided to take the train to visit San Francisco's Angelic Pretty for the very first time! The trip was very much worth it, even though it was rather chilly and windy.

I went in hoping to buy some black socks and a headbow, but I ended up leaving with....

My very first dress that I bought brand new, rather than purchasing it second-hand! It's Angelic Pretty's Bookmark JSK in wine (it is to die for) and a white headbow. After debating on getting the skirt in black or the jumperskirt in wine, the shop girls helped me decide on the jumperskirt. The dress is something new to my wardrobe, but I could still easily coordinate it with the rest of my black and white items.

The design is rather simple but clever. The stock photos don't do it any justice! It is definitely a classic piece that I could dress up or down on many occassions.

My overall experience with the Angelic Pretty store was a positive one. It was intimidating when I stepped into the store, but the shop girl eventually approached me and helped me feel more at ease. Not only did they let me try on a little bit of EVERYTHING, they also gave me their opinions about everything I wore! It was so much fun chatting with the girls, so I can't wait to come back ♥

Oh, and I found a new found love for Chantilly's dresses. They are so lush and so intricate.... I know where my next paycheck is going towards!!

This is only the second sweet coordinate I've done so I hope I did okay! My wardrobe mostly consists of classic and gothic pieces, but sweet is just too adorable to resist.
